Pottery Barn Hand Carved Mango Wood Architectural Medallion Iron‎ Stand Retired

The kind of piece that stops a room — a hand-carved mango wood architectural medallion mounted on a two-post iron stand, designed to live on a mantel, console, or entry table as a freestanding sculptural object. The carving is dense and layered: concentric rings of foliate, floral, and scroll relief work in a distressed whitewash finish that lets the warm natural wood tone show through. Pottery Barn produced this as part of their architectural medallion collection, inspired by antique ceiling medallion motifs, with all carving and painting done entirely by hand.
